Time

Time passes so fast - faster than I am able to write - ;)

is already officially July 1st - I have lived half of 2007. How's 2007?

M-A-G-I-C-A-L

in every way.

1st January 2007 – Fire works on the ship, drinking champagne and ended up walking in the rain in New York City… truly a lifetime experience. Morning, I was having breakfast with Yen Wei, Dean and JiEun eating Korean rice cake. By noon I was in New York City roaming around SOHO’s shopping area (Oh ya the Apple Concept store’s there too), went to Union Square, NY University and end up on a dinner date with Daewon and all – cheekily arrange by Yen Wei n JiEun at this quaint little Italian Restaurant which I am still missing the crème burlee and apple martini! Hahaha! Not to forget I got drunk that night on shoots of Barcadi. Fingers cross Dean deleted those pictures! Hehehe! Not that drunk to miss strolling across Central Park and ended up the whole day at the Metro the next day. Thanks to Daewon for picking such a beautiful route to walk.

31st January 2007 – The day before I left Los Angelas – I was also sitting in a charming little Italian restaurant in Huntington Beach, Orange County with Michael and Huoi. At the airport, what they said to me was the most touching and generous things I ever heard, that change me forever - to who I am now.

1st February 2007 – I touched down at Penang airport, received by the two utmost important people in the world to me - My dad and mom. Ended up breakfast at ‘Wang Chau Chui’ – obviously my favorite food. Dinner at CRC with Grace and Family – surely make Grace ‘firery’ to the sense to Volcanic Eruption should I mention New York to her ever again! Hahaha!

1st March 2007 – I was in Bangkok having a good Thai lunch at the Hotel – the food was delightful. Sleep after lunch and later had a good Thai Massage (paid by JoJo even better.. hahaha) before dinner with Uncle ChatChai and Uncle Hong. Ended up big time shopping at Central – too bad the midnight sales were not on yet. ;)

1st April 2007 – Had the luxury of lazing at home, my 1st Chinese class – also 1st month into my first job and my very first pay cheque! ;)

1st May 2007 – The night before till over midnight – did we finish 2am or 3am that night? Was with the X-SCers at Daniel’s house – our first Wii Experience. Was a crazy crazy night – filled with food and fun! That night also cost me my current RM2000 addiction experience now happily shared (more like took over) by my dad! Only the addiction not the cost of the addiction thot! Hahaha! Wii!! If you guys are really interested to know what happen to us during Wii check out MalMal’s entry on
http://blog.malcolmfoo.com/?p=22 Pictures says more than a thousand words! I took the picture Julian lying down!! I like that!! Hahaha! Anyway, some of us meet up again the next day and spend the entire day together Xbox-ing (ya more console games, and I beat MalMal and Julian in racing!!), doing photography, checking out websites and dining – seafood and ribs! More food! Hehehe

1st June – Canada. Was at the SummerHill Winery tasting Ice Wine – which no surprise I fell in love instantly with the taste! ;) Had a satisfying Thai Lunch and ended up with a scrumptious seafood dinner in Vancouver. We had oysters, lobster, geoduck, and salmon etc– so so d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s! Later at night Jojo and I went out exploring Robson Street and its surrounding before we get ourselves some warm drinks at Starbuck. I spend the later night in my hotel (tallest in Vancouver) room watching the night lights of Vancouver bringing me back to the memories of the night watching night lights over San Francisco city at Twin Peak with Jimmy and Tina. It’s just so mesmerizing!

1st July – Spend half the day sleeping – hahaha – becos was at Upper Penang Road the night before with X-SCers. Woke up when Godma called me for lunch, so ended up food tasting for Nikko’s wedding luncheon while he enjoys his Sunday watching Transformer – Bro, you going to owe me big time for this one! Hahaha! Dinner was fine at ‘LauEe’ for Joyce’s farewell. Mhm.. very nostalgic dinner. Parents and friends discussing about their ‘younger days’, we all discussing about Melbourne.

I miss Melbourne, more than usual. Talk to JA last week; make me miss Melbourne even more. He’s trying very hard to convince me to be back there. Then as I talk to Joyce about the do’s’ and places to go… it brings back even more memories. Think Joyce and family must be having the same emotions we went thru 3 years ago, all the anxiety, excitement, uncertainty, adventure lump into one emotion. Melbourne, Melbourne, Melbourne. Joyce – I am pretty sure you will fall in love with it, just like I did faithfully in 2003 and many others – before and after!

Half a year passed by, like I said every moment’s magical in itself. 2007 – I have never been happier in my life! A very good friend commented to my sister during lunch this week after not seeing me for more than half a year “Jenn smiles with a glow inside out and there are those sparkles in her eyes I have never seen before”. 4 months into a new job which I love tremendously, uncountable loving new and old friends entering and leaving, new path and commitment level in my soul’s growth, financially independent (btw I was offered my very own first principal card – a Standard Charted Platinum, my very own card!) and yes I lose 'some' weight, haha - maybe because I start eating vegetable and salad– okie don't give me that shock and disbelieve face - YES I am eating salad and vege! hehehee! Is all like a dream come true!

Now I am full or excitement and curiosity of the journey the next half of the year. I am still practicing to allow grace to enter at every moment. Yet I cannot help it but just wonder…

“Moonlight, light rays of happiness streaming thru your window pane. Dark skies lit up by that iridescent globe. Peeping thru the clouds, shy and yet boldly showing off its glowing rays. Lunacy, tides and emotions riding on the crests and troughs. Our moon often taken granted, rarely appreciated. Worshipped as a goddess, claimed by many to be green cheese, conquered by mankind. Truly something to admire”

Someone send this to me last night, I guess he is as nostalgic as I am this week. Anyway, if any of you did notice – the moon was truly bewitching last night.
